This is Reggie! He came into our care through no fault of his own.

It didn’t take us long to get to know him here as he is confident with new people and loves affection from anyone and everyone! Reggie is typical of his breed, where he has short lively moments with plenty of zoomies which are entertaining to watch. He loves all toys and choosing his favourite from a toy box!

Reggie has been in a foster home where we learnt more about him. In the home he is a laidback character and very calm, an ideal dog for someone looking for a companion to relax with around the home, he is a proper sofa dog and loves cuddles and your attention. He is such a loving dog, and a favourite with the staff as he gives the best cuddles! Toilet training wasn’t an issue either, he picked it up quickly. He is also great with children from 12 years old.

He is a superstar at the vets, having any treatments and jabs, being bathed and brushed or having his feet wiped. Reggie's knows sit and down and also walks well on the lead.

Due to his breed he naturally has a high chase drive so cannot live with cats and small animals. Reggie can live with another dog. Preferably another calm sighthound, he really enjoys the companionship and walking with another dog, as you can see here (click to go to his Facebook videos). He would benefit from an owner with sighthound experience who has an understanding of their character and breeds traits.

Reggie would love a garden on his own to play in or sunbath in the summer. He requires a 6ft minimum fence and the garden to be fully secured. Although, a garden isn't essential as he has lived in a flat previously, so we would consider a flat property also.

He isn't coping well in kennels and all the staff would love to see him find his new home and family soon. If you have room on your sofa for another please fill in an interest form below where his handler will review it.
