💙My background:
Hello, my name is Jack! I was originally rescued by someone but they could no longer care for me, so through no fault of my own I have found myself in the care of Danaher.
🐾My personality:
I am a gentle giant and a true gentleman! In typical sighthound fashion I have a lazy side but I do love activities that involve running and chasing. I am such a gentle and sweet boy once I know you, but I do have some anxious traits, I feel worried in new places and it me takes me time to settle into somewhere new.
I do high a high prey drive, as to be expected, so I do need someone who can handled any sudden pulling on the lead.
🐶How I feel about people and dogs:
I am a bit shy at first when meeting new people, so please bare with me as it will take me time to feel relaxed and bond with you. But once I do, you will see such a happy and playful boy.
I love other dogs! I am friendly meeting dogs of all different shapes and sizes. Most days I go for walks with my doggy friends or hop in the car with them and visit our local woodland.
❤️What I love:
I love to relax and snooze in a big cosy bed! During the day my handlers will also see my tucked up in my bed.
I do like to hop in a car and go to new places to explore different sights and sounds. Not only do I like to walk, but I love to run! It's important I can have off lead outlets to expel my energy.
⭐Training needs:
When I first arrived at Danaher everything was really scary and I was too anxious to walk. It took me a few weeks to find my confidence and start to enjoy myself an go for walks. This might be the same when I go into a new home. I am likely to revert back to feeling unsure in a new place again, and I will need time to learn about my surroundings.
🏠My dream home:
I am hoping to find a home as laidback as me! I would love not only a space in your heart but on your sofa!
I do need a patient owner, someone who won't expect too much of me in the beginning as I will need time to form a bond and I might not feel confident enough to walk right away until I know you and the area. I would need a garden too, with high fence, so I can zoom and stretch my long legs!
